Career Summary

Stacey joined Thomas Miller in 2019 where she has defended all manner of professional negligence claims against barristers was well as disciplinary proceedings and complaints to the Legal Ombudsman. Prior to joining Thomas Miller Stacey worked on Bar Mutual claims while in private practice, particularly disciplinary matters.

Stacey qualified as a solicitor and barrister in Australia in 2006 and has experience appearing as advocate in the Local, District and Supreme Court of NSW and in the Federal Court of Australia in a broad range of insurance matters. She qualified as solicitor in England and Wales in 2008 and has significant insurance litigation experience gained in two large London law firms. She has over 15 years of experience dealing with professional negligence claims against barristers, solicitors, accountants, IFAs and surveyors as well as doctors and dentists.

She has been involved in a number of judicial review proceedings and has experience dealing with mediations and ADR.
